I think I like Gateway for most of my medical claims and few vision insurances. Not sure if Vision Web/ Embdeon helps with ERA, Letters to patients etc... Gateway can identify claims errors etc.... Not sure if this could help you though

Take a look at Office Ally. I've been using it for years and works great. VERY cost effective as well, as in free.

Take a look at Office Ally. I've been using it for years and works great. VERY cost effective as well, as in free. I have used office ally in the past and it is a good start. However, they don't clean the claim the same way Gateway does. Trust me, there is so many extra features with gateway that it pays by itself. I am paying $169.00mo. Customer service is great, they identify errors prior submission, seamless elegibility checks, creates all kind of reports and letter to the insurance and to the patient, automatic 2ry claims, statements, etc... My recommendation is that you should get Gateway if your patient flow represents at least 30% of medical claims. I have used Embdeon and Office Ally in the past. My opinion is that Embdeon is not as complete as Gateway and that for Office Ally you would need a very knowledgeable biller/coder behind it. Again, this is just my opinion. In reallity they are all good but you need to take the one that better accommodates your needs.
