Hey MVE and MVE users of the Exam Module,
How about this: Can we please add a Spectacle Lens History tab under the Refractive tab in Exams? Just like we have a CL Order Tab under the Contacts Tabs?
I can't tell you how many times I've had a patient ask about an old pair of glasses while I doing an exam, and I have to leave the Exam Module to go to the Patient Module and then into History and then the Orders Sections and then hunt around for the order that they are talking about. And then go back in to the Exam Module!!! Phew, I'm tired just thinking about it!
In the name of efficiency, I implore you to consider this.........or tell me if I am missing some hidden shortcut to get to the same place.
Thanks for listening, Therese Langille, OD Through the Hayes Optometry, SF CA

Yes Dr. Langille. I completely agree.
The same function that currently exist on the CL tab, would be PERFECT for the refraction tab. Like you, we frequently need to hunt for a prior spectacle order to verify the actual date, the type of lens, (i.e distance, readers, progressive, Computer & Office, etc,) as well as seg height, all key details to make the best recommendation for a future needed Rx.
We also find that if we do navigate to the orders history, as you specified above, it is not possible to toggle back to the refraction tab when the Eyeglass order window is open.
My current workaround has been to use the Microsoft Snagit tool to take a screenshot of the prior Rx.
CL order functionality would be "just what the doctor ordered"
Thank you.

I agree 100%, It is such a pain in the ass finding old spectacle prescriptions. This includes history different pairs of glasses we have made.

I agree. I think it would also be beneficial to have a tab for the prescription history next to the refractive so we don't have to go to Assessment and them prescription history.

We have the spec orders on paper in a paper chart. Without that I would find it very difficult and time consuming to get to that information.
